"Where Hope Finds a Home"
Each year, the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless gathers community leaders, partners, and supporters for an evening dedicated to hope, compassion, and action.

Our 9th Annual Gala, “Where Hope Finds a Home”, will celebrate the progress we have made together while raising funding to prevent homelessness and ensure that individuals and families experiencing homelessness can find stability, dignity, and a place to call home.
On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, we will gather at The STEM Atrium at Kean University, a stunning glass-enclosed venue on Kean’s historic campus, for a celebration dedicated to expanding our impact throughout services for more individuals and families to housing, stability, and hope across Union County. Funds raised through the Gala help sustain vital programs including street outreach, eviction prevention and diversion, motel sheltering, transitional and permanent housing.
The evening will feature:
-
An elegant cocktail reception
-
Passed hors d'oeuvres
-
An inspiring program honoring key partners and featuring moving stories from people who have benefitted from our programs
-
A silent auction offering wonderful items and unique experiences
-
Opportunities to directly support our programs benefitting our unhoused and at-risk neighbors in Union County
