Thank You For Your Support for the 2020 Harvest Dinner

Updated: Nov 11, 2021

We want to give a huge thank you to our many supporters, volunteers, and colleagues at the Elizabeth Coalition who donated their dollars, time, and energy for the Taste of Operation Warm Heart dinner. Together, we raised $5,000! The food was phenomenal, supporters adored their gift baskets, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to be running food back and forth to cars.

Your donations will help so many ! And yet, we are so close to our 2020 goal of $6,000 - over 80% of the way there! Help us reach that magic number to help the men and women who utilize Operation Warm Heart, our emergency winter sheltering program that takes place from December until March. Without the Operation Warm Heart program, these men and women would be sleeping on the streets during the coldest months of the year - a literal death sentence. As homelessness is on the rise compared to last year, these dollars become more important in our mission to help alleviate and eventually end homelessness and poverty in our county.

You can still donate one of three ways:

  • Donate online. Indicate that you wish to donate to Operation Warm Heart and write "Harvest Dinner" in the comments

  • Mail a check to Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, 118 Division Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey 07201. Please write "Harvest Dinner" in the memo line.

  • Text "DONATE" to (908) 224-4160

Thank you to the many people who helped make this fundraiser the success that it was!
