You may have noticed that the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless recently got a facelift. A brand new logo, website, and more, all at your fingertips, in order to best assist our clients and our supporters. Here are some of the features to look out for:
Clients can now ask for assistance online. Our agency prides itself in its ability to adapt to new circumstances to best meet the evolving needs of our clients. Those in need of assistance can visit our web portal at echhadvocacy.org to receive help.
We have a brand new logo! Our logo has retained its distinctive message of housing individuals and families while offering them the dignity and love they deserve, while also launching into a more modern era of design. Additionally, we made sure to tie in the fact that we have been of service to the Union County community since 1981 - a huge achievement.
Supporters can join our new fundraising platform. Giving back has never been easier. You can text "DONATE" to (908) 224-4160, give a one-time donation here, set up a planned gift here, or join a fundraising effort to keep our agency running. Of course, we also still do accept checks mailed directly to the Coalition.
Our online events are fun, fast, and easy. The COVID-19 pandemic may have shut our offices down temporarily, but we did not let that stop us. Our Bernice's Place program moved to Zoom meetings to help give children the chance to be kids while their families navigated the journey through homelessness and poverty. Our art auction allows supporters to receive prints from Elizabeth artist and homeless advocate Dario Scholis while benefiting our agency. And we have lots more fun activities in the works.
While we may have a brand new look, one thing remains the same - our dedication to those in need throughout Union County, New Jersey, and beyond. The Elizabeth Coalition plans to be available and ready to help for years to come.
